Why I built it
Talking with mid-to-senior designers, the same struggles kept coming up: interviews, feedback and getting noticed.
Generic AI answers don't help much there. Designers moving into senior roles, especially in remote-first teams, need guidance that sounds like the industry they want to join.

Talking with mid-to-senior designers, the same struggles kept coming up: interviews, feedback and getting noticed.

Talking with mid-to-senior designers, the same struggles kept coming up: interviews, feedback and getting noticed.

How I built it
I used OpenAI's Custom GPT builder, with no code, and shaped it around how U.S. tech companies think, talk and hire. It includes:
Frameworks for common interview questions
Guidance for whiteboard and async challenges
Feedback that adapts to how confident the user is
Answers in English, with Spanish as an option
It's built for designers moving into senior roles, not as a general-purpose assistant.
What I learned
Used with intention, AI can be a learning companion, not just a shortcut.
The quality came from the setup: clear structure and a real understanding of what senior designers need.
Senior designers don't want vague encouragement. They want practical tools that help them think, speak and grow.
